Job Description:
A leading organization in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join its team on a contractual basis. This role is fundamental to our security posture, requiring a certified professional with mandatory hands-on expertise in CCIE Security. You will be responsible for managing advanced firewall solutions, identity management systems, and secure wireless infrastructures. We are looking for an individual with at least seven years of solid experience capable of designing and maintaining complex security architectures. This is a brilliant opportunity for a technical leader to work on high-level enterprise systems within a structured and professional Abu Dhabi-based management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise-level network architectures in alignment with global security standards.
- Manage and configure advanced firewall solutions, including FortiGate and Cisco security platforms (FMC and FTD).
- Oversee identity and access management through Cisco ISE, ensuring robust authentication and policy enforcement.
- Support and secure wireless infrastructures utilizing advanced Cisco wireless solutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure optimal network performance and technical integration.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding cybersecurity awareness training and staff compliance protocols.
- Utilize Information Technology monitoring tools to identify vulnerabilities and perform proactive threat mitigation.
- Support sales and tendering teams by providing technical security validation for corporate service proposals.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline.
- Active CCIE Security Certification is Mandatory for this position.
- Minimum of 7 years of solid experience in network security within enterprise-level environments.
- Hands-on expertise with FortiGate, Cisco FMC, FTD, and Cisco ISE.
- Strong experience with Cisco Wireless; knowledge of SD-Access and Cisco ACI is considered a significant advantage.
- Professional background in education or advanced training related to cybersecurity frameworks and compliance.
- Ability to join immediately or within a maximum notice period of 30 days is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate within a fast-paced management framework.
