Job Description:
A leading telecom organization in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Manager / Senior Manager – Carrier Business Support for a strategic role within its International Wholesale division. This high-impact position is fundamental to our global operations, requiring a professional who can align network capacity strategies with commercial objectives. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end business support for top international data carrier accounts and driving service delivery excellence across IP Transit, MPLS, and Voice Interconnect services. We are looking for an individual with at least seven years of solid experience in Information Technology and wholesale environments, capable of handling complex submarine cable dependencies. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end International Carrier Relations (ICR) service delivery and align network capacity with commercial goals.
- Manage data interconnect capacity planning and cost-of-sale design to optimize wholesale performance.
- Oversee the technical delivery of IP Transit, MPLS, Voice Interconnect, Roaming, and Messaging services.
- Coordinate across engineering, Procurement, Finance, and sales teams for seamless service rollout.
- Own SLA governance, MSA/OSS agreements, and lead carrier operational reviews to ensure service excellence.
- Manage submarine cable route dependencies and maintain high-level global carrier relationships.
- Act as the primary decision authority during disaster and crisis recovery situations for critical network assets.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure team alignment with international service performance standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Networking.
- Minimum of 7 years of telecom experience, with a strong focus on Wholesale or Carrier environments.
- Solid technical routing knowledge, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and IPSEC.
- Deep understanding of SDH, Ethernet technologies, and global submarine network architectures.
- Proven expertise in capacity allocation, cost optimization, and management of carrier agreements.
- Strong commercial mindset with a background in sales support or commercial strategy.
- High level of IT literacy for managing digital infrastructure and OSS systems.
- Professional background in education or training related to international telecom standards is a plus.
