Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is available for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our manufacturing facility in Dubai Silicon Oasis. This role is fundamental to our daily financial operations, requiring a professional who can manage bookkeeping while ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards. You will be responsible for recording sales and purchase transactions, issuing invoices, and maintaining the general ledger. We are looking for an analytical individual with a strong background in management who can support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Record and manage daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, and banking activities.
- Prepare and issue invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment records for management review.
- Maintain and update the General Ledger while ensuring precise technical bookkeeping practices.
- Prepare regular financial reports, statements, and account reconciliations to support fiscal oversight.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently in accordance with company standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll accounting and staff expense tracking.
- Utilize Information Technology and software like Tally or Zoho for real-time financial data management.
- Coordinate with engineering or production teams for inventory valuations and raw material cost tracking.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution.
- Practical accounting experience within the UAE; VAT compliance knowledge is a significant advantage.
- Proven technical proficiency in IT-based accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong expertise in management of daily transactions and analytical financial modeling.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Professional background in education or training related to UAE financial regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Immediate availability for joining this onsite position in Dubai Silicon Oasis is preferred.
