Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to join our project team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can implement rigorous health and safety policies across active construction sites. You will be responsible for monitoring daily activities, identifying hazards, and ensuring strict compliance with local regulations and company policies for management review. We are looking for a detail-oriented safety expert with a strong background in site risk assessments who thrives in a dynamic contracting environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily site activities to support sales and project deadlines while ensuring a compliant work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections and comprehensive risk assessments to minimize accidents and ensure PPE compliance.
- Maintain and update all safety documentation, permits, and incident reports in accordance with UAE regulations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding safety briefings, toolbox talks, and worker training sessions.
- Utilize Information Technology tools to track safety metrics and recommend preventive measures to management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of professional experience specifically within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and the operational requirements of Dubai construction sites.
- Strong background in management of safety documentation and corrective action implementation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding emergency procedures and hazard identification.
- Ability to coordinate closely with engineering supervisors and project managers to address safety concerns efficiently.
