Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our expanding team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can manage daily accounting functions specifically within the Real Estate sector. You will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations for management review. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities to support sales transactions and property management operations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate record-keeping for all property-related financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and management of cash flow.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll allocation for project-based staff and real estate commissions.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and accounting software to prepare financial reports and support internal/external audits.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a General Accountant, with mandatory experience in Real Estate.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Strong background in management of property-specific accounts and financial reporting.
- Professional background in education or training regarding real estate law and corporate financial ethics.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering and facility teams for property maintenance budgeting and capital expenditure tracking.
