Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior General Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can maintain accurate financial records and support closing processes within a fast-paced F&B environment. You will be responsible for bookkeeping, reconciliations, and assisting senior accountants for management review. We are looking for an analytical thinker with mandatory UAE experience in Catering or F&B who thrives in a structured business setting. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting reports to support daily F&B operations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Support senior accountants with bank reconciliations, internal audits, and comprehensive financial reviews.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding staff expenses and internal financial compliance.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to manage bookkeeping tasks and ensure data integrity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience is strictly mandatory.
- Prior professional involvement in the Catering or Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is required.
- Strong background in management of financial records and operational bookkeeping.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT and accounting procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern accounting ERP systems.
Working Details:
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
