Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can take full ownership of Zoho Books and manage end-to-end accounting functions for our retail stores and online platforms. You will be responsible for VAT returns, WPS payroll processing, and e-commerce settlement reconciliations for management review. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Zoho Books operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation across multiple retail store locations and handle e-commerce settlement (COD and card) reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll processing via the WPS system.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools like Zoho Inventory to maintain accurate stock and financial data.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on professional experience using Zoho Books is strictly required.
- Proven experience in UAE VAT filing and compliance standards.
- Strong background in management of retail accounts, e-commerce transactions, and financial reporting.
- Professional background in education or training regarding retail industry accounting and FTA regulations.
- Familiarity with Zoho Inventory and a valid UAE driving license are considered strong advantages.
