Job Description:
We are actively seeking a strategically driven Procurement Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee procurement operations for construction materials and equipment for management and budgetary review. You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating closely with project teams to ensure timely resource delivery. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for construction materials through detailed technical assessments across our Dubai projects.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to meet management and cost-effective procurement standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and project management teams regarding resource alignment and budget constraints.
- Monitor supplier performance and track material deliveries to avoid delays and ensure smooth project operations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology and procurement systems for accurate record-keeping and compliance tracking.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized academic institution.
- Proven professional experience in UAE procurement, specifically for high-rise and villa construction projects.
- Strong background in management of vendor networks, financial planning, and material sourcing workflows.
- Professional background in education or training regarding local procurement systems and construction market practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple activities under tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse building materials and technical commercial assessments.
