Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our financial framework, requiring a professional who can handle day-to-day accounting operations and Accounts Payable (AP) processes for management and audit review. You will be responsible for invoice verification, VAT compliance, and maintaining organized financial documentation. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE Accounting Practices and a proactive approach to financial tracking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records to meet management standards.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice verification and supplier payment processing in Dubai.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and finance teams to ensure strict compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and record financial data accurately to ensure 100% data integrity.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and accounting software (Tally or Odoo) for reconciliations and reporting tasks.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 to 2 years of professional accounting experience specifically within the UAE.
- Strong background in management of invoice processing, financial statements, and routine reconciliations.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical operational excellence with accounting software systems.
- Must be currently available in the United Arab Emirates; immediate joiners will be given preference.
