Job Description:
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Assistant Cost Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our commercial framework, requiring a professional who can support project cost control activities and budget management for management and client review. You will be responsible for quantity surveying tasks, preparing bills of quantities, and verifying supplier payment applications. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Project Estimation and a proactive approach to financial variance analysis. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and monitor actual costs to meet management financial targets.
- Perform quantity surveying tasks, including measurements and BOQ preparation in Abu Dhabi.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and project teams to support procurement and contract administration.
- Review change orders and assess financial implications to ensure 100% data integrity in cost reporting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and Microsoft Excel to prepare detailed forecasts, variance analysis, and performance dashboards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related academic discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or project estimation.
- Strong background in management of construction contracts, project processes, and cost control methods.
- Professional background in education or training regarding cost management software and numerical analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence and a detail-oriented approach to financial documentation in the UAE.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain accurate cash flow forecasts.
