Job Description:
We are currently looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance department in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can assist in daily operations for management and closing review. You will be responsible for recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with financial statement preparation. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Accounting Principles and a proactive approach to maintaining financial accuracy. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and periodic reports to meet management and audit targets.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% data integrity in financial records.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and procurement teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and support accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure the accuracy of account balances.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle to ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or professional Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting specifically within the UAE market.
- Strong background in management of ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations and ERP software usage.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the capability to work with precision in a fast-paced Musaffah ICAD 2 environment.
