Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join a major government project in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our technical framework, requiring a professional who can build and maintain high-performance platforms for management and real-time review. You will be responsible for designing robust backend applications, implementing scalable microservices, and integrating complex APIs. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Spring and Quarkus Frameworks and a proactive approach to distributed tracing and observability. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend applications to meet management and security compliance targets.
- Build and implement scalable microservices architecture in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in REST and GraphQL API integrations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and cross-functional Agile teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Monitor system performance using distributed tracing and observability tools like Jaeger to ensure high availability and troubleshooting efficiency.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to optimize system performance and enhance the security of platforms used by millions across the Emirates.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or professional Certificate in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 4–10+ years of professional experience specifically in Java development within high-traffic or real-time environments.
- Strong background in management of backend frameworks (Spring, Quarkus) and microservices architecture.
- Professional background in education or training regarding distributed tracing (Jaeger) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure high-level security compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to work on large-scale systems with national-level significance in Dubai.
