Job Description:
We are currently looking to appoint a highly experienced professional for the role of Head of Operations / Station Commander – RFFS. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a leader who can maintain the airport’s emergency response capabilities for management and safety review. You will be responsible for leading all firefighting and rescue operations while ensuring full compliance with international aviation safety standards. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Aviation Safety Regulations and a proactive approach to managing high-pressure emergency situations. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (RFFS) operations to meet management and international safety targets.
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations in Fujairah, maintaining 100% data integrity in operational procedures and emergency response plans.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department to manage, train, and supervise firefighting personnel to ensure peak team readiness and performance.
- Coordinate effectively with airport authorities and external agencies during emergencies to ensure rapid and organized action.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to monitor firefighting equipment and systems, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and equipment maintenance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Safety or Aviation Management, plus a mandatory professional Certificate in Firefighting.
- Extensive professional experience specifically in aviation firefighting and emergency response leadership within the UAE or internationally.
- Strong background in management of RFFS operations, safety protocols, and crisis management practices.
- Professional background in education or training regarding aviation regulations and emergency drill coordination.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, sound decision-making under pressure, and strong team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage critical safety operations in Fujairah.
