Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist (Arab Nationality) to join a well-established freight forwarding company in Dubai. This role is fundamental to the organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage complex clearance cycles for management and regulatory review. You will be responsible for executing processes via Mirsal 2, securing Dubai Municipality permits for foodstuff, and ensuring documentation complies with UAE laws. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Food & Perishable Shipment Regulations and a proactive approach to preventing delays and penalties. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Execute customs clearance processes via Mirsal 2 to meet management and supply chain timelines.
- Support regulatory integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% data integrity in food safety approvals, municipality permits, and shipment documentation.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and external authorities to facilitate smooth operations and timely processing of clearance activities.
- Manage the complete cycle for perishable goods while maintaining accurate records and ensuring full compliance with UAE trade regulations.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and customs systems to optimize workflow efficiency and professional logistics reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain plus a relevant professional Customs Broker or Mirsal 2 Certificate.
- Arab nationality is a mandatory requirement for this professional engagement.
- Proven professional experience specifically handling food/perishable goods and Mirsal 2 systems in the UAE.
- Strong background in management of Dubai Municipality food control regulations and shipment documentation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding compliance standards, trade laws, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, valid UAE driving license, and the capability to work efficiently in a structured environment.
