Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our Dubai-based team. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage quantity take-offs for management and project budgeting review. You will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), supporting tendering activities, and coordinating with subcontractors for quotations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Fit-Out Estimation and Cost Management and a proactive approach to technical drawing review and cost control. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quantity take-offs and develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to meet management and project targets.
- Support project integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% precision in cost estimation, tender preparation, and submission.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and relevant information.
- Review technical drawings and project documents to facilitate professional organizational reporting and ensure accuracy in budgeting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools, AutoCAD, and Excel to optimize estimation processes and professional cost control.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of professional UAE experience specifically within fit-out estimation and cost management.
- Strong background in management of BOQ preparation, tendering processes, and subcontractor coordination.
- Professional background in education or training regarding AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and construction budgeting standards.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess a high level of accuracy, and exhibit strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to support a high-standard fit-out firm in Dubai.
