Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee financial activities and support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and leading month-end closing processes. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in UAE Accounting Standards and Internal Financial Controls and a proactive approach to regulatory compliance. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations to meet management and organizational fiscal targets.
- Support fiscal integrity in Abu Dhabi, ensuring 100% precision in financial statements and VAT return filings.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department for payroll processing in strict compliance with UAE labor laws.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate professional organizational reporting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights for senior management.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field (ACCA/CPA/CMA preferred).
- Proven professional experience specifically as a Senior Accountant or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong background in management of financial reporting, budgets, and internal control implementation.
- Professional background in education or training regarding VAT compliance, UAE financial regulations, and audit coordination.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess high attention to detail, and lead junior accounting staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to support a dynamic electromechanical firm in Abu Dhabi.
