Job Description:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate Accountant to join our growing finance division in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can oversee property-related transactions and escrow compliance for management and RERA performance review. You will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting cycles, including off-plan projects, VAT filing, and financial reporting. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Property Accounting, RERA Regulations, and Escrow Management and a proactive approach to supporting external audit processes. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete accounting cycles for sales, leasing, and off-plan projects to meet management and regulatory standards.
- Support fiscal integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% precision in monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and RERA authorities to facilitate professional organizational reporting and escrow account compliance.
- Coordinate with brokers and developers to monitor developer trust accounts and ensure adherence to UAE VAT laws and statutory filings.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and property ERPs to maintain detailed records of depreciation schedules and rental income.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in the real estate industry.
- Strong background in management of RERA guidelines, escrow accounts, and UAE VAT requirements.
- Professional background in education regarding CPA, ACCA, or CMA certifications (highly preferred).
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess advanced Excel skills, and use ERP systems like Yardi, Tally, or QuickBooks in Dubai.
