Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our MEP Division in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can manage project-based accounting and costing for management and financial performance review. You will be responsible for preparing project budgets, managing subcontractor payments, and ensuring month-end closing accuracy. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in MEP Cost Control, Financial Reconciliation, and Project Costing and a proactive approach to handling multiple project deadlines. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project-based accounting and costing activities to meet management and budgetary standards.
- Support financial integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% precision in project tracking, cost control measures, and financial reporting.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and project teams to facilitate professional organizational coordination and subcontractor reconciliations.
- Perform month-end closing procedures and ensure adherence to international accounting standards.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools, including Tally and advanced Excel, to maintain organized financial records and conduct in-depth analysis.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience specifically within the MEP contracting industry (mandatory).
- Strong background in management of project budgets, cost control, and financial tracking across multiple sites.
- Professional background in education regarding accounting principles, month-end closing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, communicate fluently in English and Hindi (mandatory), and work independently in Dubai.
- Proven proficiency in Tally and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
