Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can move beyond routine data entry to manage financial operations for management and audit performance review. You will be responsible for managing AP/AR processes, conducting bank reconciliations, and supporting project-related cost control. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in QuickBooks, VAT Compliance, and Financial Reconciliation and a proactive approach to handling project-based accounting. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions to meet management and accuracy standards.
- Support financial integrity in Dubai, ensuring 100% precision in accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and project managers to facilitate professional organizational coordination and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate VAT records and ensure strict adherence to UAE financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools, specifically QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, to maintain organized financial documentation for audits.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience specifically in an accounting or finance-focused role.
- Strong background in management of QuickBooks (mandatory), financial data preparation, and cost control.
- Professional background in education regarding UAE VAT regulations, accounting principles, and month-end reconciliations.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, work independently, and meet deadlines efficiently in Dubai.
