Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counsellor to join our professional team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can support students’ emotional and social development for management and wellbeing performance review. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one sessions, designing wellbeing programs, and maintaining confidential records. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Psychology, Safeguarding Practices, and Individualized Intervention Plans and a proactive approach to fostering an inclusive school culture. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to meet management and student support benchmarks.
- Support psychological integrity in Dubai, developing individualized intervention and support plans with 100% precision.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and school leadership to facilitate professional organizational coordination of safeguarding and child protection.
- Design and lead school-wide wellbeing programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns for students and stakeholders.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to maintain accurate, confidential records in line with local safety policies and UAE regulations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
- Strong background in management of crisis situations and student-focused wellbeing initiatives.
- Professional background in education regarding safeguarding practices, child protection frameworks, and empathy skills.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, possess strong communication abilities, and thrive in a diverse Dubai school environment.
