Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and structured Chief Accountant to join our professional corporate finance and operations team in Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a senior financial management professional who can deliver fiscal and analytical precision for management and external auditor performance review. You will be responsible for overseeing complete accounting operations, organizing corporate budget allocations, updating cash flow optimization tracks, archiving financial reports, and executing precise strategic decision-making pathways. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Project Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Leadership / Accounting Team Supervision and a proactive approach to operational tracking. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive day-to-day general accounting workflows, fiscal activities, and treasury operations to meet management and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Support structural integrity in Abu Dhabi, reviewing project accounting allocations, tracking cost control metrics across construction sites, and archiving financial documentation with 100% precision.
• Liaise with the Human Resources department, construction project managers, banking representatives, and external consultants to facilitate professional organizational coordination of official audits.
• Formulate clear financial statements, compile management review reports, handle working capital adjustments, and manage immediate operational problem-solving routines to improve business performance.
• Utilize digital Information Technology suites, specialized ERP systems, and advanced corporate spreadsheet models to record company transactions, analyze financial data, and distribute corporate balance sheets across contracting business units.

🔹 Requirements:

• Professional Accounting License or a recognized senior certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred alongside a strong degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Extensive, proven professional accounting experience within the UAE market is strictly mandatory.
• Previous background and specific sector exposure within the UAE construction or contracting industry is required.
• Strong knowledge base and practical exposure regarding the management of full-cycle accounting architectures, corporate budgets, cash flow parameters, and financial controls.
• Professional background in education regarding IFRS rules, localized industrial taxation practices, cost evaluation metrics, and executive corporate reporting formats.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational abilities, with a proven history of supervising accounting staff under deadline pressure.
• Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, navigate complex commercial balances under shifting variable parameters, and thrive in an elite Abu Dhabi engineering corporation.
