Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, physically energetic, and meticulous Warehouse Assistant to manage daily cargo receiving, physical order consolidation, and dispatch remediation tracking tracks at our centralized distribution center in Deira, Dubai. This active logistics role demands complete lifecycle control over stock placement, precise Goods Received Notes (GRN) file documentation, and immediate discrepancy resolution to guarantee flawless fulfillment velocity for executive supply chain management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unbox, and meticulously inspect incoming freight consignments and bulk fragrance shipments against manifest records.
- Prepare, protectively wrap, and dispatch outgoing customer orders accurately to meet daily logistics timelines.
- Execute secure loading and unloading activities for distribution vehicles within the designated warehouse bays.
- Maintain highly structured digital and physical inventory logs, tracking all internal stock transfers and item adjustments.
- Organize product batches systematically on racks, shelving systems, and specific climate-controlled cosmetic storage sectors.
- Generate formal Goods Received Notes (GRN), inventory transfer vouchers, and specialized supply chain paperwork error-free.
- Coordinate fluidly with internal retail sales and regional logistics wings to facilitate smooth, rapid client order fulfillment.
- Enforce strict warehouse cleanliness parameters, spatial optimization layouts, and mandatory safety handling procedures.
- Participate actively in periodic cyclical stock counts, annual physical inventory audits, and balance reconciliation tasks.
🔹 Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience operating inside a structured warehouse, distribution hub, or logistics center.
- Prior experience handling fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), high-end perfumes, global cosmetics, or retail stocks is highly preferred.
- Solid functional understanding of inventory sorting logic, picking/packing procedures, and warehouse safety codes.
- Demonstrated physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, lift stock boxes safely, and operate under high-pressure schedules.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including data logging inside Microsoft Excel sheets and inventory spreadsheets.
- Strong team collaboration traits, punctuality, and an exceptionally disciplined approach to tracking item counts.
- Clear, professional communication skills capable of smooth interaction with delivery drivers and logistics coordinators.
- Practical background in education regarding workplace safety metrics, allocation volume calculation parameters, and warehouse workflow management logic.
