Job Description:

An opening is available for a detail-driven Mid-Level Accountant to join the central finance group in Dubai. This role handles multi-entity accounting streams, general ledger updates, and rigorous data verification to support daily commercial reporting operations and month-end financial reporting processes within the corporate structure.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting entries and maintain general ledger for assigned business units.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities including accruals, provisions, and reporting.
• Assist in preparation of management reports and financial summaries.
• Support VAT calculations and compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.

🔹 Requirements:

• 2–4 years of hands-on accountant jobs experience, preferably in UAE retail, FMCG, or multi-entity settings.
• Strong experience working with SAP software including financial workflows and analytical tools.
• Advanced Excel skills with a rigorous approach to visual numbers and data accuracy.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and VAT preparation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited higher education institution.
