Job Description:
A specialized on-site medical and operational protection vacancy is open for a certified Safety Officer to govern complete construction site risk management, health compliance, and field safety protocols. Operating across active developments in Dubai, UAE, this technical inspector will maintain complete responsibility for minimizing field risks, training structural crews, and adjusting protective scaffolding configurations to enforce rigorous international criteria.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive corporate occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and site procedures.
- Monitor daily civil construction site activities dynamically to ensure full, uncompromising compliance with regional safety regulations.
- Conduct regular, highly thorough risk assessments, technical audits, and early identification of potential hazard zones.
- Investigate structural incidents, physical accidents, or equipment violations immediately and compile highly detailed analysis reports.
- Enforce active preventive safety measures and assign personal protective gear across all heavy operational zones.
- Review existing scaffolding, machinery, and emergency egress systems systematically to recommend continuous safety improvements.
- Ensure all field employees, engineering specialists, and third-party subcontractors strictly follow safety rules and daily operational guidelines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of verified professional experience handling site safety directly inside a busy civil construction company.
- Strong, comprehensive knowledge of high-risk workplace safety systems, fall prevention frameworks, and mechanical risk management.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct technical field inspections, complete corporate safety audits, and lead high-impact training sessions.
- In-depth structural knowledge of NEBOSH international standards, risk elimination practices, and practical implementation models.
- Solid functional understanding of IOSH advisory guidelines and professional certification framework matrices.
- Complete, updated familiarity with local OSHAD regulatory compliance requirements and municipal legal filings.
- Advanced comprehension of global ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system architectures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deliver safety toolbox talks backed by automated digital logging via cloud Information Technology assets.
- Bachelor’s Degree or technical Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or related sciences from an approved higher education university.
