Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical Quantity Surveyor – Estimation (Pre-Contract) to manage material takeoff routines and structural budgeting workflows in Abu Dhabi. Operating within our pre-contract engineering division, this full-time office-based role focuses on creating detailed price sheets, analyzing tender documents, and engineering subcontractor bidding packages under our centralized commercial management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for civil building assets and regional infrastructure projects.
- Study complex tender documents to identify and compile essential technical or commercial clarifications.
- Formulate detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Material Take-Off (MTO) records for budget review submissions.
- Structure subcontractor inquiry packages, analyze commercial proposals, and compile competitive quotation logs.
- Prepare financial variations, project cost forecast models, and long-term cash flow projections.
- Manage contractual claims preparation processes, evaluate structural cost risks, and assist with negotiations.
- Analyze public tender parameters and coordinate across departments to support government bid submissions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent accredited technical engineering qualification.
- 4 to 5 years of solid, mandatory experience working as a quantity surveyor on building construction projects inside the UAE.
- Deep professional knowledge of civil estimation methodologies, contract regulations, and tendering practices.
- Advanced proficiency navigating engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar quantitative platforms.
- Familiarity with local government procurement setups, corporate commercial reporting, and high-precision data analysis.
- Excellent numerical problem-solving capabilities paired with the ability to manage strict bidding timelines under pressure.
