Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Medical Compliance Officer to lead regulatory audit tracks and corporate governance operations within our compliance division in Abu Dhabi. Operating within a highly structured health insurance environment, this full-time role focuses on verifying internal policy enforcement, processing mandatory regulatory filings, and building data protection logs under our centralized corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and enforce daily adherence to UAE medical insurance laws, corporate policies, and operational compliance benchmarks.
- Manage end-to-end regulatory filings, evaluate disclosure documents, and maintain precise documentation chains for authority reviews.
- Conduct comprehensive internal compliance audits across operational departments to identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation steps.
- Coordinate closely with internal insurance product teams, claims assessors, and medical networks to verify cross-departmental policy alignment.
- Draft analytical compliance registers, summarize internal review outcomes, and present formal risk summaries to executive directors.
- Assist in updating corporate governance manuals, updating code-of-conduct layouts, and refining legal risk monitoring procedures.
- Maintain clear and formal communication with local healthcare departments, insurance authorities, and legal bodies when required.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Compliance, Law, or an equivalent accredited discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of solid, verified compliance or internal audit experience working directly within a UAE-regulated health insurance firm.
- Deep knowledge of regional health insurance statutes, data confidentiality criteria, and local medical funding regulations.
- Mandatory professional bilingual fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal communication) is required for regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to manage internal corporate reviews independently with a high level of confidentiality and attention to structural details.
- Strong technical capacity for designing complex data logs, managing regulatory dashboards, and compiling legal report summaries.
