Job Description:
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Joinery Estimator to pilot commercial cost evaluations and technical pricing strategies within our corporate office in Dubai. Operating as a vital bridge between our design and manufacturing divisions, this full-time role focus on breaking down material quantities, managing tender documentation pipelines, and reviewing structural budgets under our centralized commercial management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Review detailed architectural drawings, spatial design specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for custom joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare highly comprehensive cost analyses, detailed material quantity take-offs, and factory production requirement logs.
- Coordinate directly with regional material suppliers and technical subcontractors to secure competitive, validated market quotations.
- Develop structured pricing proposals, commercial risk summaries, and accurate tender submittals for upcoming contract selections.
- Analyze complex design variations to identify value-engineering models and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal production units, creative design teams, and site engineers to verify absolute pricing alignments.
- Maintain structured estimation records, historical material pricing databases, and subcontractor rate logs.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related structural track.
- Minimum 2 years of solid professional experience specializing in joinery fabrication or interior fit-out estimation within the UAE market.
- Strong technical understanding of commercial joinery materials, custom woodworking profiles, veneer finishes, and production floor processes.
- Proven proficiency handling formal BOQ structures, commercial tendering procedures, and competitive project costing layouts.
- Hands-on technical mastery navigating AutoCAD systems, advanced MS Excel spreadsheets, and specialized estimation applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective coordination with external suppliers and internal divisions.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple complex tenders simultaneously while meeting strict commercial deadlines.
