Job Description:
We are seeking an analytical, detail-driven Accountant to pilot daily transaction ledgers and monitor regulatory fiscal compliance at our regional hub serving Ajman and Sharjah. Operating as a critical ledger guardian within our corporate finance unit, this full-time role focuses on verifying high-volume supply invoices, processing local VAT filings, and balancing multi-currency vendor reconciliations under our comprehensive operations management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain highly accurate, audit-ready corporate books and manage day-to-day double-entry general ledger entries systematically.
- Govern all accounts payable and accounts receivable pipelines, ensuring seamless processing of supplier liabilities and client collections.
- Perform routine corporate bank reconciliations, monitor multi-currency cash flow movements, and flag localized budget variances.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss reports, and operational cost summaries.
- Ensure absolute structural alignment and compliance with regional United Arab Emirates VAT regulations, filing laws, and tax audit procedures.
- Support internal and external year-end corporate audit sequences, collecting asset documentation and organizing balanced financial folders.
- Process incoming downstream invoices, approve procurement settlements, track team expenses, and implement practical cost-control measures.
- Assist the finance executive team with detailed forecasting models, annual commercial budgeting exercises, and strategic trend analysis.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of successful, verified professional accounting experience required, with clear priority given to backgrounds inside the UAE market.
- Deep theoretical understanding of standard international accounting principles, closing cycles, and specific UAE VAT statutory laws.
- Practical computer literacy with proven hands-on experience navigating enterprise resource planning systems; direct knowledge of Odoo ERP is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency executing data calculations, building macro pivots, and framing diagnostic reporting templates inside Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional quantitative analysis skills, strong structural problem-solving abilities, and an immaculate, detail-oriented approach to data tracking.
- Proven capacity to perform accurately under pressure, coordinate multiple accounting timelines, and fulfill strict monthly closing dates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle multi-cultural supplier settlements and collaborate effectively inside a busy finance unit.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related financial discipline from an accredited university is preferred.
