Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accountant to govern daily bookkeeping operations and support corporate balance sheet updates for our centralized finance department in Sharjah. Operating as an essential fiscal asset controller, this full-time role focuses on verifying multi-currency vendor reconciliations, auditing operational tax data, and ensuring systematic transaction reporting compliance under our comprehensive corporate management architecture.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions, allocate project expenditures, and maintain immaculate, audit-ready company bookkeeping journals.
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable sub-ledgers, processing vendor bills and supervising corporate collections.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations, identify liquid cash fluctuations, and secure absolute verification of internal financial data.
- Compile detailed corporate financial statements and variance updates on a regular monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year closing routine.
- Monitor organizational operating expenses, run budgetary oversight controls, and report immediate capital leaks to executive directors.
- Organize and store clear documentation for all commercial transactions, securing total compliance with regional accounting principles.
- Assist internal and external auditors during structural corporate reviews by extracting ledger files, tracking logs, and journal backups.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Economics, or an equivalent quantitative fiscal discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of successful, verified professional experience working as a corporate accountant or financial ledger administrator.
- Deep structural understanding of fundamental double-entry bookkeeping rules, revenue tracking metrics, and basic audit compliance targets.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, lookup configurations, and financial charts inside Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on experience navigating enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or mainstream automated accounting platforms is highly preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) rules, filing formats, and statutory corporate compliance parameters is a distinct asset.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy, strong analytical instincts, and a disciplined approach to managing multiple transactional deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle inter-departmental inquiries and coordinate seamlessly across business teams.
