Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced, assertive Electrical Section Manager to direct technical field engineering and govern power delivery systems for a high-profile, mission-critical data center project in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi. Operating as the principle site electricity supervisor, this full-time leadership position focuses on driving grid deployment tasks, auditing complex testing timelines, and ensuring seamless safety parameters across high-voltage grids under our integrated engineering operations management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coordinate the centralized electrical engineering section for an enterprise-level, large-scale data center infrastructure deployment.
- Oversee the end-to-end site installation, routine operational safety, and preventive maintenance of complex High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) infrastructure.
- Govern centralized substation power distribution systems, executing regular optimizations to maximize industrial load efficiency and operational system reliability.
- Supervise and validate intensive factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and final equipment commissioning activities to align with strict project parameters.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with MEP project directors, specialist subcontractors, civil site engineers, and regional utility utility representatives for smooth project execution.
- Enforce absolute structural compliance with design specifications, localized safety protocols, international data center standards (TIA-942/Uptime Institute), and strict quality assurance baselines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related heavy infrastructure engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- 8 to 12+ years of successful, verified professional experience managing electrical engineering systems strictly within large-scale utility infrastructure, hyper-scale data centers, or critical industrial facilities.
- Deep technical mastery of modern HV/MV/LV system architectures, complex backup generator switchgears, UPS topologies, and heavy power distribution networks.
- Hands-on practical experience directing multi-phase testing, structural commissioning, and system validation cycles for complex mission-critical machinery.
- Demonstrated corporate leadership, site administration, and project scheduling capabilities to guide large teams of field engineers and contractors effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with elite inter-departmental coordination, organizational, and technical troubleshooting instincts.
