Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-focused Technical Engineer to oversee hydraulic design calculations and govern groundwater engineering parameters for our specialized project division in Abu Dhabi. Operating as an essential technical designer on active site developments, this full-time role focuses on validating wellpoint layouts, drafting technical submittals, and auditing structural safety risks under our unified project management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA) for high-stakes groundwater and site excavation activities.
- Carry out detailed design calculations for diverse dewatering systems, including advanced wellpoint configurations, deep well setups, submersed pumps, and high-volume discharge pipelines.
- Develop, review, and systematically update technical civil drawings such as site layouts, structural sectional views, and detailed component designs.
- Work closely alongside active site operations teams and project engineers to ensure flawless, safe implementation of designs on-site.
- Ensure all sub-surface drainage works align completely with project specifications, municipality regulatory requirements, and health and safety protocols.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related industrial discipline from an accredited institution.
- 3 to 5 years of successful, verified hands-on engineering experience specializing strictly within active dewatering systems or groundwater control sectors inside the UAE.
- Deep structural understanding of sub-surface hydraulic design principles, soil mechanics, pump curve dynamics, and localized technical documentation workflows.
- Advanced technical proficiency deploying AutoCAD for engineering design modeling along with standardized quantitative calculation software tools.
- Exceptional technical problem-solving capacities, sharp analytical reasoning skills, and a disciplined approach to managing design compliance updates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate seamlessly across cross-functional site divisions, client consultants, and municipal authorities.
