Job Description:
We are executing an urgent tactical expansion within our central supply chain department and are seeking a proactive, detail-focused Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end purchasing pipelines for our construction and fit-out operations in Dubai. Operating as an essential materials and logistics coordinator within our fast-paced delivery division, this full-time role focuses on accelerating Request for Quotation (RFQ) processing speeds, evaluating material costs, and optimizing delivery schedules under our integrated project management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete material procurement lifecycle, from structuring technical RFQs to issuing authorized corporate purchase orders.
- Negotiate competitive wholesale unit pricing, favorable commercial credit durations, and reliable logistical schedules with manufacturing suppliers.
- Work closely with internal Engineering, Site Project Managers, Corporate Finance, and Warehouse inventory teams to sync inventory distribution demands.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain a highly dependable, audited repository of regional vendors and specialized building material distributors.
- Keep precise, structured digital records of all purchasing activities, invoice clearings, compliance certifications, and contractual documentation.
- Handle specific procurement tasks and specialized finish materials sourcing for high-end interior fit-out projects.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- 1 to 2 years of successful, verified professional experience working as a Procurement Officer or Buyer inside the UAE; motivated fresh graduates holding strong academic engineering or logistics training are also highly encouraged to apply.
- Prior academic background or solid professional familiarity within active construction, civil infrastructure, or interior design/fit-out environments is strongly preferred.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, vendor matrices, and tracking sheets inside Microsoft Excel.
- Strong fundamental communication, multi-tier negotiation, and organizational multitasking abilities to balance tight project deadlines.
- Candidates must be currently based within Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with immediate professional availability to onboard viewed as an exceptional advantage.
