Job Description:
We are executing a strategic commercial appointment within our estimation division and are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out to govern cost management pipelines and direct budget tracking pathways in Dubai. Built for analytical estimation specialists who excel at calculating material measurements and auditing trade vendor proposals, this full-time role focuses on accelerating tender processing speeds, auditing material take-offs, and maximizing project value under our integrated corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare highly accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for complex commercial interior fit-out and millwork projects.
- Conduct thorough material quantity take-offs directly from architectural blueprints and detailed project documentation.
- Assist in setting budget limits, preparing structural cost estimations, and executing active site cost control activities.
- Support the tendering department with competitive bid preparations, commercial assessments, and evaluation routines.
- Coordinate with sub-tier trades and material suppliers to obtain timely quotations and itemized pricing details.
- Assist in subcontractor evaluation procedures, commercial negotiations, and trade procurement assignments.
- Maintain organized, updated project cost ledgers, variance tracking sheets, and financial status reports.
- Support contract administration practices, change order tracking, and core project documentation requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely matching accredited discipline.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of successful, verified professional experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE interior fit-out or construction market.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying cost-tracking tools, material formulas, and measurement grids inside Microsoft Excel.
- Proven hands-on experience using modern quantity surveying and digital estimating software packages.
- Deep, comprehensive knowledge of BOQ layout rules, material take-off standards, tendering procedures, and subcontractor evaluation practices.
- Familiarity with contract administration methods, variation tracking, and local construction materials pricing models.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and highly polished verbal and written communication habits.
