Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our corporate finance division and are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to govern fiscal transaction pipelines and direct daily bookkeeping pathways in Dubai. Operating as an essential operational anchor and ledger validation specialist within our main administrative department, this full-time role focuses on accelerating reconciliation cycle processing speeds, auditing general ledger entry logs, and maximizing administrative precision under our integrated operational management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive day-to-day corporate accounting activities, journal vouchers, and detailed financial transactions with high fidelity.
- Handle central Accounts Payable (AP) loops and Accounts Receivable (AR) billing processes efficiently.
- Perform rigorous balance sheet analysis, comprehensive bank statements, and monthly subsidiary ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure constant operational compliance with UAE VAT regulations, local commercial tax guidelines, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist the finance controller in preparing standard financial statements, trial balances, and structured management reports.
- Maintain organized, high-fidelity corporate financial records, transaction receipts, and digital audit documentation trails.
- Support complex month-end closing, year-end adjustments, and corporate asset depreciation updates systematically.
- Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional procurement and administration units to protect fluid daily business operations.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely matching accredited business discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of verified professional experience operating within core finance departments, including at least 1 year of successful local experience inside the UAE marketplace.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, cash flow tables, and balance sheets inside automated accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive technical knowledge across the following frameworks:
- Accounts Payable (AP) configurations and sub-ledger asset reporting.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) structures, commercial billing runs, and aging analysis logs.
- International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and localized banking reconciliations.
- UAE VAT Regulations, input credit tax calculations, and statutory audit protocols.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, strict attention to data entry details, and sharp, data-driven problem-solving habits.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills paired with strong organizational habits and the capacity to meet strict reporting deadlines independently.
