Job Description:

We are executing a strategic fiscal appointment within our central treasury division and are seeking an experienced, highly detail-oriented Accountant – Fit Out and Construction to govern project-based financial pipelines and direct corporate ledger accounting pathways in Abu Dhabi. Built for visionary accounting professionals who possess deep reconciliation experience in industrial contracting environments and excel at managing multi-tiered client accounts, this full-time role focuses on accelerating ledger reporting speeds, auditing vendor payment logs, and maximizing cost allocation accuracy under our unified corporate management framework.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day corporate financial transactions, project ledger runs, and comprehensive general accounting operations.
  • Prepare high-fidelity financial statements, cost-allocation summaries, and rigorous balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitor, track, and optimize accounts payable workflows and accounts receivable collections tracking metrics.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized digital financial history logs and complete audit-ready transaction evidence files.
  • Assist senior management with corporate budgeting, project cost forecasting, and long-term financial planning models.
  • Support internal financial review boards and external corporate audit compliance evaluations efficiently.
  • Ensure uncompromised adherence to corporate fiscal strategies, job costing methodologies, and public accounting regulations.
  • Review complex journal entries and cross-verify multi-currency sub-ledger transaction lines for total structural precision.
  • Coordinate seamlessly across project managers, procurement specialists, and operations teams regarding target project budgets.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely matching accredited business management discipline.
  • Prior verified professional accounting experience working directly within a fit-out, joinery, large-scale construction, or commercial contracting environment is mandatory.
  • Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying general ledgers, sheet formulas, and cost-tracking tables inside enterprise ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following financial management sectors:
    • Project cost-accounting, progress billing, and construction-specific financial reporting practices.
    • Accounts payable workflows, subcontract evaluations, vendor credit limits, and aging statements.
    • Accounts receivable tracking, client invoicing, retention tracking, and collections cycles.
    • ERP system architectures, standard ledger balancing tools, and data reconciliation parameters.
    • Audit defense methodologies, corporate tax preparation support, and regional statutory compliance criteria.
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities, strict attention to detail, high numerical precision, and proactive problem-solving habits.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills paired with the capability to cooperate with cross-functional project teams.
