Job Description:
We are executing a strategic financial appointment within our corporate performance division and are seeking an analytical, highly motivated Management Accountant to govern complex multi-segment data pipelines and direct centralized MIS reporting pathways in Dubai. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive daily and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports with clearly defined data sources, absolute ownership trackers, and strict publication timelines.
- Develop and maintain multi-segment corporate profit and loss statements, configuring automated models for direct and indirect overhead allocations.
- Manage and monitor live physical trading performance trackers, market risk exposures, and executive performance dashboards.
- Support the strategic planning team in compiling annual commercial budgets and rolling 12-month business projections.
- Conduct thorough budget-versus-actual accounting assessments, isolating margin slippages and presenting detailed corporate variance commentaries.
- Develop advanced cost allocation methodologies and product unit economics metrics to guide strategic executive trade decisions.
- Establish robust institutional KPI parameters, data reporting scorecards, and standardized analysis templates.
- Identify and resolve complex source-data tracking errors across transactional software systems to maximize database reporting quality.
🔹 Requirements:
- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or a matching fully accredited professional corporate accounting qualification.
- Proven verified experience operating within a multi-entity corporate environment or multi-segment management accounting structure.
- Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical proficiency deploying financial modeling sheets, forecasting tools, and logic grids inside Microsoft Excel and Power BI platforms.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following financial fields:
- Management information systems (MIS), internal performance analysis, and corporate reporting cycles.
- Budget planning frameworks, rolling multi-month forecasting models, and complex indirect cost allocation methods.
- Unit economics tracking, product margin analysis, KPI design parameters, and ledger reconciliation checks.
- Commodity trading parameters, import-export bookkeeping loops, and transactional multi-currency accounting.
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, strict attention to numerical detail, high mathematical precision, and adaptive problem-solving traits under fast-moving market schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication habits paired with the personal confidence to partner effectively with senior trade stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior verified professional accounting background operating inside a commodities trading company, bulk distribution firm, or fast-paced maritime logistics enterprise is highly preferred.
