Job Description:
We are executing a strategic technological appointment within our central platform engineering division and are seeking an analytical, process-driven Cloud and DevOps Engineer to govern complex infrastructure-as-code data pipelines and direct multi-environment deployment pathways in Abu Dhabi. Built for seasoned automation architects who possess deep operational command of microservices lifecycle orchestration and excel at constructing highly resilient, zero-downtime integration structures, this contract-based track (6-month extendable tenure) focuses on accelerating code delivery speeds, auditing cloud resource efficiency, and maximizing overall system reliability under our integrated corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust, high-availability cloud infrastructure frameworks across Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystems.
- Develop and manage modular, scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) architectures deploying Terraform to enforce uniform environmental state control.
- Build, optimize, and supervise automated CI/CD orchestration models to streamline error-free application binary deployments into live staging zones.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support critical real-time production environments, resolving software runtime spikes and connectivity errors immediately.
- Implement cutting-edge cloud security baseline policies, standard operational guidelines, and continuous monitoring defenses.
- Collaborate closely with core software development and site reliability squads to refine cross-functional deployment pipelines and minimize system friction.
- Automate structural infrastructure provisioning, server image building, and programmatic configuration management tasks across all testing layouts.
- Support high-density containerized environments and microservice clusters utilizing enterprise kubernetes or docker runtimes.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely matching fully accredited software discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 to 10+ years of verified professional experience operating as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) handling high-load distributed web applications.
- Mandatory Technical Credentials: Valid professional-level certification is strictly required. Candidates must possess either an active Azure Solutions Architect Certification OR an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional credential.
- Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical proficiency deploying code compilation tools, cloud networking configurations, and shell scripts within systems featuring Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional domains:
- Infrastructure as Code paradigms, declarative configuration tracking, and Terraform state management.
- Container abstraction frameworks, multi-pod Kubernetes cluster networking, and container imaging.
- Scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate recurring operating system events and API tasks.
- DevSecOps engineering patterns, automated vulnerability scanning, identity management access control, and secret protection rules.
- Outstanding logical analysis capabilities, structural problem-solving habits, incident root-cause diagnosis experience, and a track record in banking, finance, or similarly regulated data ecosystems.
- Immediate availability to join the active project timeline inside the UAE is highly preferred.
