Land Surveyor
Company Overview:
Nama for Building Contracting Co. LLC is a premier, highly successful urban developer, elite general contracting firm, and leading civil infrastructure construction group expanding its high-performance field execution division in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Built upon world-class geometric precision models, rigid structural alignment tolerances, and progressive engineering frameworks, the enterprise builds multi-tiered commercial developments, directs complex foundational layovers, and ensures absolute compliance with Dubai Municipality survey criteria, federal infrastructure mandates, and international geodetic standards.
Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our central technical execution wing and are seeking a meticulous, data-driven Land Surveyor to govern geospatial layout pipelines and direct structural boundary charting pathways across our Dubai developments. Configured for systematic engineering specialists who possess deep operational command of modern optical instrumentation and excel at navigating local municipal permitting grids, this full-time track focuses on accelerating foundation setting-out velocities, auditing topographical databases, and maximizing built-environment precision under our unified corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Set out exact building footprints, grid lines, structural foundations, road networks, and infrastructure coordinates on-site.
- Conduct comprehensive topographic, boundary, and hydrographic field surveys to build detailed terrain models.
- Coordinate productively with resident project engineers, site superintendents, and design coordinators regarding spatial measurements.
- Liaise directly with Dubai Municipality inspectors, GIS departments, and land regulatory authorities for boundary approvals.
- Prepare detailed survey data logs, mathematical calculation breakdowns, and official as-built drawings.
- Ensure the absolute mathematical accuracy of all raw survey data points, leveling benchmarks, and layout markings.
- Support general structural monitoring routines, verifying excavation depths and tracking shoring wall settlement indices.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Geomatics Engineering from a fully accredited academic institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of verified, high-performance professional history operating a surveying desk, running site layout tracking, or managing geodetic calculations specifically within the United Arab Emirates or GCC infrastructure marketplace.
- Advanced technical data literacy with extensive practical capability deploying high-precision Total Stations, RTK GPS/GNSS receivers, and digital Auto Levels, alongside compiling coordinate matrices inside MS Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- Construction surveying methodology, heavy earthworks tracking, structural alignment, and site setting out.
- UAE survey standards, Dubai Local Coordinate Systems (DLTM), municipal benchmark systems, and geodetic rules.
- AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, digital terrain modeling, and the maintenance parameters of optical surveying instruments.
- As-built drawing production, volumetric calculation processing, deviation reporting, and documentation flow.
- Outstanding geospatial problem-solving talents, strict attention to geometric and typographical detail, robust team leadership skills under active field pressures, and immediate availability for our Dubai developments.
What We Offer:
- Competitive baseline fixed monthly salary package structured from AED 5,000 to 6,000, determined entirely by past field portfolio defenses, live instrument configuration tests, and engineering panel interviews.
- An elite opportunity to capture spatial custody and ensure precision across a diverse and high-impact roster of building and civil works.
- Stable career development paths supported by active project expansions and clear internal tracks for chief surveyors, engineering managers, construction directors, or specialists moving toward corporate operations or corporate hr jobs and technical engineering recruitment loops.
