Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core materials management wing and are seeking a data-driven, highly analytical Senior Purchaser / Procurement Officer to govern global agricultural sourcing pipelines and direct high-value vendor allocation pathways in Sharjah. Configured for systematic supply chain specialists who possess deep operational command of commodity purchasing logic and excel at optimizing complex vendor lead times under shifting market rates, this full-time track focuses on accelerating inventory replenishment, auditing supply agreements, and maximizing cost-containment metrics under our unified corporate management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Procure high-volume feed raw materials, detailing volume contracts for essential components including corn, soybean meal, and nutritional feed additives.
- Source premium veterinary medical products, general farm operational consumables, and specialized livestock packaging materials.
- Manage strategic long-term vendor partnerships, directing thorough vendor performance evaluations and annual capacity scorecards.
- Negotiate legally binding supply contracts, competitive pricing grids, delivery volume assurances, and structural procurement terms.
- Monitor international commodity trading markets, compiling diagnostic market intelligence regarding raw feed ingredient trends and price shifts.
- Coordinate closely with internal farm managers, feed mill production teams, and logistics squads to align incoming shipments.
- Identify structural cost-saving channels across global freight lines without altering strict corporate biometric or quality guidelines.
- Ensure systematic, uninterrupted material flows, establishing active safety-stock buffers across all critical manufacturing inputs.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Sourcing, or a matching technical discipline from a fully accredited academic institution is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of verified, high-performance professional history operating a commercial sourcing desk, running warehouse supply tracks, or managing high-value procurement portfolios specifically within the poultry, animal feed, or agro-industrial sectors.
- Advanced technical and analytical data literacy with extensive practical capability deploying Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) frameworks—with a deep practical emphasis on SAP architectures—and configuring complex cost models, tracking macros, and pivot matrices inside advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- Poultry and commercial feed manufacturing procurement parameters, bulk ingredient grades, and bio-secure transport rules.
- Strategic sourcing logic, total cost of ownership (TCO) calculation models, global lead-time balancing, and supplier diversification.
- Contract negotiation strategies, legal commercial clauses, incoterms, payment milestone maps, and corporate risk mitigation.
- Commodity market analysis methods, agricultural indices, supply-demand forecasting, and microeconomic hedge tracking.
- Vendor onboarding regulations, service level agreement (SLA) verification, and warehouse stock-turn metrics.
- Outstanding corporate communication talents, sharp commercial negotiation capabilities, strong structural problem-solving habits under manufacturing pressure, and full readiness to drive operational procurement efficiency from our Sharjah corporate headquarters.
