Job Description:
We are executing a strategic professional appointment within our core field operations wing and are seeking a meticulous, technically authoritative Site Engineer – Fire & Life Safety (FLS) to govern system installation pipelines and direct complex testing and commissioning pathways across premium projects in Dubai. Configured for systematic field specialists who possess an advanced technical command of low-voltage safety infrastructure and excel at directing subcontracted workforces, this full-time track focuses on accelerating system delivery velocities, auditing inspection approvals, and maximizing engineering quality metrics within our structured engineering jobs and technical development matrix.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, coordinate, and supervise all on-site field production activities for specialized extra-low voltage (ELV) networks.
- Ensure all installation sequences match approved shop drawings, strict method statements, and corporate QHSE policies.
- Prepare, submit, and close out Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) with consultants.
- Submit comprehensive daily and weekly progress trackers, labor productivity records, and operational logs to senior leadership.
- Manage daily site manpower deployment, coordinating directly with field supervisors and sub-contractor foremen.
- Attend critical client coordination sessions, design coordination briefings, and high-level structural project reviews.
- Monitor local material inventory thresholds, raising well-documented site material requests to maintain progress schedules.
- Coordinate specialized testing, pre-commissioning adjustments, regulatory documentation loops, and final approval pipelines.
- Witness final architectural testing sequences, document authority approvals, and ensure structured asset handover compilation.
- Conduct comprehensive system operations training sessions for corporate clients and facility operators during project closeout.
- Identify technical design bottlenecks, reporting practical engineering changes and structural field modifications.
- Supervise testing actions under our corporate operational management guidelines to maintain total timeline integrity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a matching institutional field from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of verified, high-performance professional history running site operations, managing subcontractor crews, or delivering engineering systems within the Fire & Life Safety or ELV contracting sectors in the UAE region.
- Advanced digital workspace data literacy with sharp capabilities tracking hardware manifests, compiling testing charts, and managing engineering asset spreadsheets inside Microsoft Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive operational knowledge across the following primary functional dimensions:
- Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) loops, addressable detector configurations, control panel mapping, and system wiring networks.
- VESDA systems architecture, aspirating smoke detection plumbing, capillary pipe mapping, and sensitivity programming.
- PAVA systems logic, voice alarm zoning parameters, emergency sound distribution loops, and acoustic volume leveling.
- Central Battery Systems (CBS) parameters, emergency lighting circuits, battery bank testing, and back-up power logic.
- Central Monitoring Systems (CMS) frameworks, building management integration paths, data reporting protocols, and remote telemetry.
- Testing and commissioning procedures, field loop diagnostics, insulation resistance logging, and pre-functional validation rules.
- ELV system installation standards, containment engineering guidelines, cable routing codes, and local electrical regulations.
- Site supervision and project coordination models, labor optimization tracks, scheduling tools, and interface planning.
- QHSE policies, hazard identification systems, personal protective equipment rules, and site safety alignment standards.
- Outstanding corporate communication talents, sharp structural troubleshooting habits under tight project deadlines, absolute attention to drawing details, and full readiness to operate on-site within our premium Dubai developments.
