Job Description:

The Accountant will manage general ledger accounting, ensure VAT compliance, and execute day-to-day financial operations. Operating out of our Al Ain branch, this organized finance professional will prepare financial statements, perform regular supplier and bank reconciliations, maintain accurate ledger entries using accounting software, and assist with month-end closing activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Manage VAT calculations, filings, and compliance requirements.
• Perform bank, supplier, and account reconciliations.
• Record and monitor daily financial activities using accounting software.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support financial analysis and ensure compliance with company policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of practical professional accounting experience.
• Previous UAE accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of local UAE VAT regulations, calculations, and official tax filings.
• High proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and business communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage ledger maintenance, general reconciliations, and routine financial analysis.
