Job Description:

The Business Analyst – Airline Operations will gather functional requirements, model operational workflows, and support Agile solution delivery for high-impact aviation projects. Based onsite in Dubai, this specialized IT analyst will bridge business stakeholders and software engineering teams, driving system enhancements across Airline Operations Control (AOC), crew planning, and flight scheduling platforms.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and evaluate RFI/RFP documentation for project requirements.
  • Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and detailed process flow documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful Agile project delivery.
  • Identify process improvements through gap analysis and business process mapping.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with mandatory background in Airline Operations Control (AOC) and Crew Scheduling/Planning.
  • Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery, product backlog management, user story drafting, and BRD/FRD creation.
  • Hands-on experience conducting gap analysis (AS-IS / TO-BE) and process mapping for airline operational software.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing UAT cycles, preparing test scenarios, and handling RFI/RFP evaluation workflows.
  • Proficiency with documentation and project tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Immediate or early joiners available in the UAE are strongly preferred.
