Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with solid commercial background to manage general ledger workflows and project-based financial records in Abu Dhabi. Working within our central corporate finance division, this full-time role centers on supervising vendor accounts, analyzing construction costs, processing payroll assets, and maintaining balanced bookkeeping ledgers under our core operational management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily corporate accounting transactions and ensure accurate record keeping for all active civil projects.
- Process vendor invoicing pipelines, subcontractor payment certificates, ledger reconciliations, and routine expense lines.
- Compile comprehensive financial statements, balance sheets, and month-end closing accounts for operational reviews.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable tracks to sustain optimal cash flow margins across supplier teams.
- Assist with organizational payroll processing, WPS compliance controls, and employee-related financial registers.
- Coordinate closely with material suppliers, technical teams, and internal departments regarding contract allocations.
- Maintain systematic digital documentation archives for public audits, tax filings, and reporting compliance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related commercial specialization.
- Minimum 5+ years of verified professional accounting experience directly within the United Arab Emirates.
- Mandatory prior background working inside a General Contracting or Construction enterprise in the region.
- Deep knowledge of UAE accounting regulations, construction job costing methods, and structural supplier reconciliations.
- Strong technical proficiency using specialized financial software and formatting advanced data sheets in MS Excel.
- Possession of a valid UAE Driving License will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Candidates available to join immediately or with a short notice period are highly preferred.
