Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to manage thermal plant layouts, mechanical upgrades, and reactive maintenance for walk-in cold rooms in Dubai. Working inside our corporate operations team, this full-time technical role centers on maintaining complex compressor assets, performing cooling plant health check routines, and diagnosing control networks under our centralized engineering management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, balance, and fine-tune commercial cold room units and heavy-duty industrial refrigeration setups.
- Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance tasks to keep cooling plant compressors operating efficiently.
- Provide onsite breakdown support and resolve high-priority industrial mechanical service logs.
- Diagnose mechanical failures, electrical wiring faults, and pressure drops across industrial cooling networks.
- Execute environmental refrigerant charging, vacuum tests, and high-precision system leak checks.
- Calibrate commercial industrial compressors, evaporators, oil separators, and digital thermal control panels.
- Enforce corporate health guidelines, environmental regulations, and technical procedures across mechanical fields.
🔹 Requirements:
- Technical Diploma or specialized mechanical certificate focused on Refrigeration, HVAC, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on, verifiable mechanical experience working directly in the cold storage or cooling plant industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty compressor overhauls, cooling coil distributions, and technical layout maps.
- Proven capability diagnosing electrical shortages, mechanical friction blocks, and thermostat control faults.
- Practical experience completing gas charging cycles, safety leak monitoring, and copper brazing operations.
- Prior work experience inside the UAE mechanical service sector will be viewed as a clear added advantage.
- Ability to track maintenance schedules independently and work collaboratively inside multi-disciplinary teams.
