Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Processing: Manage the full Accounts Payable lifecycle, ensuring all transactions align with internal financial policies and government mandates.
- Three-Way Matching: Perform rigorous verification of invoices against Purchase Orders (PO) and Delivery Notes (DN) to ensure payment accuracy.
- Vendor Governance: Conduct regular vendor reconciliations and analyze AP aging reports to maintain healthy liquidity and creditor relations.
- Period Closing: Actively support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all accruals and payables are accurately reflected.
- Audit & Compliance: Prepare and provide comprehensive documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring a clean audit trail.
- Dispute Resolution: Liaise with vendors and internal departments to investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or payment delays.
🔹 Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Accounts Payable functions within a large-scale organization.
- ERP Proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems, with a strong preference for Oracle Fusion.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of internal control frameworks and standard accounting principles (IFRS).
- Professionalism: Excellent coordination skills and the ability to operate effectively within a structured management hierarchy.
- Certifications: Professional credentials such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are considered a significant advantage.
