Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Al Ain. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can handle core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting within the construction sector. You will be responsible for managing cash flow, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, and maintaining compliance with VAT requirements for management review. We are looking for an analytical thinker proficient in Tally who thrives in a reputable contracting environment. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure smooth financial operations to support engineering and maintenance projects.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes for project efficiency.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in full compliance with current UAE financial regulations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding payroll documentation and internal financial controls.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and filing systems using advanced digital accounting software.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting roles.
- Proven experience working within a construction or contracting company is mandatory.
- Strong background in management of financial documentation, cash flow, and regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Tally.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations and compliance standards.
