Job Description:
We are executing an immediate strategic professional appointment within our corporate finance division and are seeking a qualified, highly technical Accountant (Contracting Field) to govern project transaction pipelines and direct general ledger pathways in Abu Dhabi. Operating as an essential cost-control anchor and cash-flow data specialist within our regional office, this full-time role focuses on accelerating closing processing speeds, auditing sub-ledgers, and maximizing financial data precision under our integrated project management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Handle comprehensive day-to-day accounting operations, precise commercial data entry, and financial record maintenance with high fidelity.
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, verifying project sub-contractor billing statements.
- Prepare structured commercial invoices, multi-currency bank account reconciliations, and detailed financial statements.
- Ensure absolute corporate compliance with UAE accounting standards, local corporate tax rules, and Federal Tax Authority VAT regulations.
- Support complex project accounting, active cost-control allocations, and variance analysis activities for on-site engineering milestones.
- Generate highly analytical financial summaries, project cash-flow forecasts, and operational reports for executive management review.
- Coordinate seamlessly across procurement and site project engineering teams to reconcile technical material assets.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a matching accredited financial discipline.
- A minimum of 2 or more years of successful, verified professional accounting experience within Abu Dhabi, with mandatory, deep hands-on exposure working inside an active MEP contracting environment.
- Advanced technical data literacy with practical proficiency deploying complex lookup formulas, project cost matrices, and reconciliation logs inside software tools like Tally, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
- Deep, comprehensive knowledge of invoicing procedures, balance sheet preparation, material cost-control, and UAE VAT compliance reporting.
- Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills paired with sharp analytical faculties and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple transactional deadlines simultaneously, navigate a fast-paced construction office, and maintain absolute attention to mathematical detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates possessing verified experience in specialized construction cost-control modeling or holding attested educational certificates will be given a major commercial advantage.
