Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, analytical Accountant to govern day-to-day bookkeeping operations and direct freight-ledger updates for our active finance unit in Dubai. Operating as an essential fiscal administrator inside a fast-paced environment, this full-time role focuses on verifying carrier invoice structures, reconciling multi-currency ledger allocations, and monitoring asset balances under our integrated supply chain management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate, day-to-day corporate bookkeeping journals, tracking cargo transport expenditures and structural shipping line disbursements.
- Manage end-to-end invoicing processes, balancing complex accounts payable pipelines and client receivables files systematically.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, audit operational accounts, and track liquid cash flow activities against project timelines.
- Assist senior management with compiling month-end closing files, quarterly revenue dashboards, and financial status reports.
- Liaise and coordinate with external corporate auditors to fulfill necessary documentation requests and support compliance updates.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent numerical academic discipline from a recognized college.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of successful, verified professional experience working inside a corporate accounting or commercial ledger environment.
- Prior professional background or solid operational exposure within the freight forwarding, multi-modal logistics, or custom brokerage industries is highly preferred.
- Hands-on technical familiarity working with automated cloud bookkeeping platforms, showing direct proficiency navigating Zoho Books or similar ERP packages.
- Advanced data literacy with practical proficiency deploying formulas, lookup configurations, and financial tracking files inside Microsoft Excel.
- Immaculate attention to structural detail, sharp organizational habits, and the flexibility to thrive harmoniously inside a small, fast-moving team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to address inter-departmental queries and coordinate smoothly with external trade partners.
