Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, credentialed mid-level Accountant to manage general ledger frameworks and govern fiscal compliance lines for our central design studio in Dubai. Operating as an essential financial controller within a dynamic creative environment, this full-time role focuses on verifying client project expenditures, leading tax file filings, and auditing corporate asset balances under our comprehensive accounting management framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage day-to-day corporate bookkeeping operations, ensuring total accuracy, completeness, and audit-readiness of all internal financial records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly corporate financial statements and variance reports in absolute compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Govern end-to-end UAE VAT filings, reconcile tax sub-ledgers, and secure strict operational adherence to local taxation regulations.
- Assist executive stakeholders in strategic budgeting and forecasting activities to support long-term studio expansion and project business planning.
- Support comprehensive audit preparation by methodically organizing physical and digital financial documents, vouchers, and internal ledger tracks.
- Utilize elite accounting software packages such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books to drive structured studio financial management.
- Perform advanced data analysis and cost tracking via Microsoft Excel, configuring detailed pivot tables, lookup models, and complex formulas.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or a closely related quantitative financial discipline from an accredited university.
- Active professional accounting certification is mandatory for this role, with direct preference given to certified CPA, ACCA, or CMA holders.
- 3 to 5 years of successful, verified professional experience working inside a mid-level accounting, auditing, or fiscal controller capacity.
- Deep structural understanding of IFRS guidelines, UAE VAT registration laws, corporate tax frameworks, and regional compliance rules.
- Proven hands-on experience navigating leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages and mainstream digital bookkeeping applications.
- Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel to build progress sheets, reconcile complex financial charts, and process data values smoothly.
- Strong analytical data parsing, structural organization, and time management abilities paired with a disciplined approach to strict monthly deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to collaborate fluidly with design directors, material suppliers, and external auditors.
