Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Accountant to join our finance department. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of financial reporting and ensuring seamless compliance with UAE taxation laws. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional comfortable with advanced ERP systems, capable of managing full-cycle accounting activities from daily entry to month-end closing, providing the financial clarity needed to support our expanding trading operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and manage day-to-day accounting entries and all financial transactions.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, summaries, and detailed management reports for the Management team.
- Handle VAT filing processes and ensure 100% compliance with UAE tax regulations and FTA standards.
- Regularly reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure balance sheet integrity.
- Support and lead month-end and year-end closing activities with high precision.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical documentation of all accounting records.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate payroll accounting and provisions.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
- 2–4 years of practical accounting experience, with a strong preference for UAE-based experience.
- Deep understanding of UAE VAT laws and mandatory compliance procedures.
- Proven experience operating Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to handle complex financial data sets.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving financial discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and external auditors.
- High degree of integrity and professional ethics in handling sensitive financial data.
